Self Assesment

What achievements have you made this Semester?

I have learnt more about maths and other ways to do maths for example multiplication and division. I have also made more friends this year.

What improvements could you make to your learning?

I could try harder in other subjects, I could think of others before myself.

What are my goals for next semester?

To read more, try harder in writing.

World Maths Day!!

pic

Friday 14th of March 2014 was a day to remember, World Maths Day. Our class dressed up as mad scientists. Some other people dressed up as, nerds, cards, dice, some people even just dressed up in colours, patterned clothes, stuck paper numbers to their clothes etc. After recess the year 6’s lead class games, some of the games we played with our class leaders, Georgia and Riley , twentyone and a number game. Freddo Frogs were given out as prizes. After the activities we met with our buddies and made a shape monster. Next we had our usual Friday Buddy Lunch. After Lunch we made some number art. Sadly the day came to an end. I am really looking forward to an even better World Maths Day next year.

Scott Kneller

Scott Kneller is an Olympic athlete, his event is Ski-Cross. We spoke to him, asked him questions and listen to what he thought about being in the Olympics. The year 5/6’s got to dress up in green and gold, two other schools were supposed to speak to him as well but they were experiencing some technical difficulties. I got to sit up the front and ask him questions. It was a  great day!
